So... I'm a little confused at what the graphic effects mean...
It seems to me when an enemy unit leaves a radar field OR appears on Sonar, it is rendered Grey. What does this mean? I can still select the unit and order an attack on it... is this a good idea? It seems questionable as grey seems to imply the unit will be disappearing shortly.
Also when units are destroyed... do they disappear? Is there a white ball of light? I tend to confuse grey ships with sinking ships. Can anybody clarify exactly what grey ships/buildings everything means... and tell me what sinking ships/crashing aircraft, etc. look like?
Fog of War, Sonar, Grey units, and destroyed units...

Its means thats where it was last sighted. If the things you are talking about happen to be things that move, like ships, attack but expect them to have moved.

Grey means thats where you last saw them, it may or may not still be there. When units get destroyed they disappear, there is no period in which they are sinking or crashing. They disappear in a small white flash.
