Nukes VS. Naval targets

I know you can target a nuke against a single enemy ship and destroy it with that.


But can you target the nuke into the middle of the fleet and potentially wipe out the entire fleet?


If so that could make coastal airbases a good defense to enemy ships off your coast.

i tried against a CPU & it didn't seem to work. They had their navy off me west USA coast & were taking out my fighters no prob, so Isent a few bombers to nukthe waters around them. Didn't seem to do anything (it COULD of, but i had nothing left to mop up, so it didn't help me at least)

You can wipeout a couple of ships, but you gotta have good aim and timing.
