Uplink Patch Testing continued, 1.31b

Postby John » Wed Jun 07, 2006 4:50 pm

The latest version of the testing patch can be downloaded here.
The list of changes can be found here.

We have worked on improving the crash reports. When installing, please be sure to fill in the userinfo.txt file with your details. In the event of a crash it will help us get in contact with you to narrow down the problem further.

Should Uplink crash while playing, an ‘Error Report’ dialog box should come up, please do click on the ‘Send Report’ button. The crash report, together with userinfo.txt and debug log file will be sent to our server for further analysis.

Please can you report any bugs you find in the Bug Reports forum.

When making a report, please be sure to mention the exact version of Uplink that you are talking about, preferably include the version on the subject line of the post.

Note that this particular release of Uplink is time limited, set to expire in August (you will still be able to continuing existing agents, just not start new ones without the codecard).

Thanks for all your help testing the patches so far, it is much appreciated.

At the moment we're focussing on the Windows platform. The bug fixes should be easily carried across to the Linux version. There are a few complications with carrying the fixes across to the Mac version, since we didn't do that port ourselves. We'll do our best though!

Are you going to add some new features or just bug fixes?

The list of changes is linked in the original notice.

But by the looks, it is bugfixes.
