No sound?

I purchased Uplink 1.6.3b1 from Humble Bundle and I am running macOS Sierra 10.12.6
Game runs great but there is no sound - tried toggling off the music in the menu. Any ideas?
UPDATE: I found that I could get a steam key from Humble Bundle - downloaded it on steam - the sound works!! Hooray!
