Can't run on a PowerBook G3

Hi, I download the demo version to try it on my Mac
but will not start ... in a console and CrashReport
give me the following report:

I'd suggest going to the Ambrosia forums with an issue such as this rather then asking on here.

Ambrosia did the port to the Mac and have more experience with the hardware and software issues that occur then the regulars on here. Mainly because we are PC users for the most part.

However a read-over makes me wonder why the CPU subtype issue. If it's the Mac version it should work with the old PPC chipset, unless of course it's been redone for the newer intel based macs only.

The version of Uplink that the debug log says you are using is 1.6.0. The most recent version is 1.6.1, which can be downloaded from Ambrosia Software's website. Before doing anything else, I would update your install of Uplink, as I am pretty sure that there were some PPC issues that were ironed out in the latest release.

If that does not fix the problem, you should report your problems on the Ambrosia forums, rather than here.
