1) Yes. It's already done.
2) the SDL framework will be batched into the Onlink installer. Yes, it's free.
3) Like I said, the port is done. Right now, we need moki (andrew at ASW) to verify that it doesn't override the registration requirement. This is the biggest wait we'll have.

Is Onlink available for download now? If so, could I have the website?

No, it's not available for download for OS X. Ambrosia is verifying it to make sure that you can't bypass the copy protection using Onlink.

so until then, why ot give it to those who have already registered? They would need to override the registration requirement if they already have Uplink registered...

Then they'd be able to put the Mac version on the torrent networks.

So then require the Onlink to be registered with the same Uplink registration code they received.

...to do that we'd need to get the encryption algorithm used by Ambrosia's RegistrationTool, which is what we need to sort out :p

Why not just modify the registration program to work with Onlink? I'm sure that Ambrosia should be able to that very easily...

Depends whether they trust Kyuu. This is, as I said, what we need to sort out.

why wouldn't Ambrosia trust Kyuu?
Posted: Sat Oct 22, 2005 6:04 pm
Because they don't know Kyuu.
Posted: Mon Oct 24, 2005 10:08 pm
Well, Ambrosia isn't going to "get to know" Kyuu by just doing nothing. They need to send a representative to Kyuu so they can get started on this project (or whatever you call it now
I believe they had word for that...oh yeah, it's called: initiative
