Wouldn't that be nice? A private pm to everyone who is interested?

Or how about you just keep an eye on the topic?

I wish I whould have gotten the Linux version... not the mac...
To bad they dont put both(or rather all 3 (lin mac win)) on one cd...
Or atleast have a download for the other system which you can register with the same licence code...

Uh, that's the Mac boxed version. At least mine came with the Windows and Linux versions...

Now you see you replied there to a post from October 2004, that's 2 years ago, and bumped a topic that is almost 3 months old with something essentially worthless.

Why? Did you not see the dates on the post and think "Hmm he posted that two years ago, maybe I should not reply"?

My thought process was something like this:
  1. Hey, this forum is pretty slow.
  2. My, there's an unanswered question in this old thread.
  3. The answer to that question isn't in the forum anywhere.
  4. The forum will be used by people (like myself) looking for answers, not just in the "current" threads.

So, what's the issue with an old thread being posted to?

It's not the bumpage so much as the particular post you replied to.

The date on the post was over 2 years ago. The person is not going to see your answer as they are not around.

Please, think before posting.

Not to be difficult, but... so? People may come to this forum looking for information, like I did. Is it so inconceivable that someone other than the OP might look at this thread?

There have been sporadic posts to this thread over the two years it has been active. The OP probably didn't see all of those either.

Thanks for the nice welcome to the forum.

I'll sign the petition, if I'm not to late.
