Gamebible Book 1

Now if the gamebible password is 164157157040155141156171040163145143162145164163077 in oct of course. Do you definitively need Winunzip to be able to enter the password, 'cos I can't get it open on my G4 which is using stuffit. Any workaround? Please don't tell me I have to get the PC down from the loft!

What is the Gamebible Book? I've only played the demo version though. I'm about to buy it though =)

StuffIt v8.0.2 worked fine for me -- I think you just have the password wrong.

It's has nothing to do with octal, I'll tell you that much.

Yeah I know it's not in octal, I converted it to that so as to show that I had the genuine one without ruining it for anyone else. If someone chooses to translate it back then good luck to them. I don't know what version my stuffit was but it didn't work for me.

Are you 100% sure you have the code right? Do keep in mind that it is case sensitive. Spaces and punctuation also matter.

Well Chris has said he didn't want people providing the first gamebible to others who hadn't purchased the CD version. So while it is possible to get the bible other ways, it is simular to warezing the game. :)

Bah. I think that if you pay the FULL $25 to get the Mac version from Ambrosia, they'd better start giving out the game bible. I pissed at them for endless days about that but now I don't really care: all four bibles are on the DevCD, which I have.

First off, I'd like to say hi, I'm new here.

I recently finished off the Arumnor story, and am working my way to TERMINAL.

So you're saying I had to buy something else to get book 1? I've already registered, is there any way at all I can get it? =(

hey, i'm in the same boat viserys, along with them apparently refusing to open up the mac source code meaning we can't get any mods either... well shit, this is a red-letter day for ambrosia/introversion/whoever is responsible for these two things. i don't think any other company has ever pissed me off so thoroughly. all respect i had for this company is lost

i apologise if this is an old issue, or a horse already beaten well past death.

(viserys if your name is from the book i'm thinking of, than i'm impressed. i almost used that as my login)
