What version is Uplink for the Mac?

I was wondering since there are no patches on this site to download for the Mac version if that the Mac version sold on this site already has all the bug fixes. Let me know =)

No, you would need to go to www.ambrosiasw.com to get the latest (1.33) patch. The version here is 1.31 which is the latest PC patch, but the Mac game had some porting/coding issues that were fixed in subsequent Mac only patch, however no new content was added. :)

I assume you're involved with Introversion or aren't you? Then what would you recommend? I'd really rather have a physical copy and pay $5 more for it from this website. Would it be a better idea to buy it from Ambrosia as a download only? Let me know. Thanks =)

I actually have no connection (well other than I use their forums and play their game), but I am fairly certain the CD is able to be patched with the patch from Ambrosia. So if you want the CD you can get it without any problem (having a physical copy is nice). :)

Mac Version
It says PC CD-ROM on the box in the picture. I know that the Mac version was ported by Ambrosia, so does it come from them? Also, is it shipped from the UK or from the US. If you know, let me know =)

They just used the same picture from the PC version for the image. If you order it, it will be the Mac version. The port was actually contracted out to Contaband Entertainment, and Ambrosia is the Mac publisher, but Introversion also sells it (as you have found). It will be shipped from the UK (there is no shipping cost, its included in the price). :)
