I just downloaded the demo for mac duh on my pc and burned it on a cd and put it in on my firends mac laptop. the laptop has the space it needs but it dose not work. Why dose it do that could someone HELP ME.

Ok when I downloaded the mac demo to put it on his laptop I first put it in my.  Folder it should say Application under type but it says SIT File and maby that is why it does not work?

You will need to un-compress it with a utility like Alladin.  :)

PCs are great machines (I use them at my school), don't get me wrong, but they don't cater to what I want in a home computer.

Wow, you just post 3 time in a row and said nothing worth reading in any of them.  If you really feel the need to add more to a previous post you should use the edit feature (provided for just that purpose).

a .sit file is as mentioned an archive, this is usually decompressed on a Mac using Stuffit Expander.  It comes as part of the Mac OS so when you double click the archive it should launch automatically.  If you are running OS9 or before you may be asked to choose what app to decompress with in which case stuffit should be in your list.  If it isn't go to www.aladdinsys.com and download the relevent free version for your OS.  If you're running OS X, again it should be integrated but do a SW update because v 6.5 which bundles with early OS is shite.
