I cannot figure out how to retrieve the password to open up the book 1 files

Look on the back of your box, there should be some hexadecimal

Find a Hex>Ascii converted, enter the code and it'll give you the password for gamebible 1

I have got the password yet it doesnt work, the initials of the password is tms? (Just to make sure thats the right password).

You are not typing it in correctly (capitalization, spelling, spaces, punctuation, etc). It is best to copy and paste the password, as typing without being able to see the text can cause problems.

I have the german version of Uplink and on the box are no hex numbers. How could Iget the password now???
