For those of you who don't know (didn't read my first reply here), Ambrosia, released most of the gamebible book 2 in a free download. Its called something like "Uplink Extras". :)

i tried the uplink extras download but it does not work for some reason.

it does not respond when i click on it and it does nothing to my uplink misc folder like they said it would.

You have to uncompress it. . . You will need Stuffit. :)

Damn, was looking forward to getting one of them, had got all excited (well... vaugely interested, at least) when found out could buy them, and didn't have to convince any of my computer illiterate mates to buy uplink...
Well, they ain't got the sure sign of a collectors item yet -- no one's trying to blag a fake copy on E-bay yet. (Moment of desperation forced me to search).
I suppose amrbosia will be the key... although its always nice to have a decent disk rather than bits and pieces downloaded all over the place. Or maybe I'm just the odd one out there.
