Quote: from ShadowWolf on 7:25 am on Nov. 14, 2003[br]Thank you for the source, Katana Steel. I use windows and I haven't used C++ in a while, so I don't really remember much about it. I just wanted to know how do I use these programs? I am fairly certain I can get help compiling the source in Windows though.
About the .txt file where do I find the key for it. Is it in the same key file as the images? How do I find it? I'm not really looking for the answer just a tip.
Thank you all for your help, and patience. I'm new to file cracking.
Sorry for the long absence, but to answer your quetion. Yes, the 'readme.txt' file uses the same key as the JPEG images
I created a shell script to decrypt the entiere Book 2, to keep track of the offset in the key file. I guess you should do something like that too.
Just a tip, all the files comes in a orderly sequence in the key file.
(to make thies programes I did some reading around
the board, to figur out how to crack Book2, all though
you could do the same, it would take a lot of time to
locate all the old post, that contain the answers, and a
lot of time reading unrelated spam, in the relevant
threads)
I've actualy never done any real file crypting, all though my first program I ever created was a "file crypter",
and are actualy located
here.
