Red shirt doesn't work on my computer.

It all depends on what version of uplink you are running.
Why do you need cheats anyways the game is much more intresting if you dont cheat.

Ok, so you need to get redshirt working. To run the program you need to run it from the run menu, which you can find by clicking on the start button(in Windows) then on run. If that still doesn't work. Go to that same run thing, and type "cmd" that will open the command promt, now you will need to go to the path where you have putted the Redshirt file. Like if you putted it in C:\Program Files\Reshirt\ , then type:

C:\
cd Program Files\Redshirt
reshirt.exe

or type it in faster:

C:\Program Files\Reshirt
redshirt.exe

That should work.

I know how to open world.dat! (I think) Use winrar to view the dat file and copy all the text to a text file. i think u cant open it with redshirt is because it says "REDSHIRT" at the very top of the text. delete the word "REDSHIRT" from it and use redshirt to turn the text file u just made into a zip file! (I havent tried it myself yet)

I'm not sure since it's been a long time I did this, but the REDSHIRT heading is supposed to be there. You have to de-redshirt it and turn it into an mp3 file. When you play it it should have really weired noises. The file is the encryption for the one time pad program to decrypt book 2. If you have the otp and you read the help file from the website , it will recommend you to use mp3 or jpg file.

Tell me if I'm wrong.

Actually, if you want to decrypt it, *SPOILER ON THE LOOSE! RABID SPOILER! HEAVILY ARMED SPOILER!!*

Hint: It uses OTP encryption. Redshirt won't help you.
