[Linux version] Menu of linux is up the Uplink.

Hello,
I just found Up Link... and in my LinuxMint 15 (= ubuntu 13.04) the menu is up my Up link, I don't see the top of Uplink page !!!
What do I do ? How do I parameter ?
And a other thing, how do I close UpLink ? I try planty of key, I feel that F12 , it close.
