Question about DevCD

I like to program. When I learned that I could buy the source code to Uplink, I was thrilled! My question, before I order it; is it really any use to a Mac user? Looking over the DevCD section of the Uplink site, it would appear not. Can I get my Mac version of Uplink to run on my Windows somehow, or would I have to buy the game over again? This could be really disappointing.

You would amost certainly have to buy Uplink again (though maybe you could ask IV if they would through the game in for free if you bought they DevCD, they are a bit strapped for cash at the moment and might be willing to bargin with you if you were willing to buy the DevCD). :)

As I said, I enjoy nothing more than programming. :?

The CD itself is $45 I believe, and another copy of Uplink would be 25-ish? that's about $70 just to get the source code and be able to play with it. Of course, it also gives me the added ability to use existing mods...On top of that, I don't know C++...I'm pretty good with Java, so I could learn, I suppose. Meh, I'm sad now. :(

Question: Would my current .usr file work on a Windows?

1) This was already answered in your other topic.
2) Bumping a topic from 2004, not the best way to do it.

You can purchase it from the Introversion store.
