Can't get downloaded LANs to work

first of all Lans never appear at internic...except the sample lan...you need to enter the IP address into IP lookup to add it to your list of servers. but your probably going to say i dont know the ip address how do i find it. so ill tell you right now. If the file you unzipped isnt a text file make it one by changing the exetension to .txt, then open the text file and at the top you should see the server name company name, ip address and the location on the world map. write down the IP Address and go back to uplink and enter it in IP lookupand bingo its in your server list

Ok. you are the one coming to the party a ittle late buddy, and for no good reason. Ans second, to get the name of a central mainframe or public access server for a LAN you downloaded you cant just go to interNIC, you do need to change the LAN file to a text document.
