Introversion

hey agito, could it be possible to add some features from other mods to ur mod?
Some examples are, the global medical database,
or combine ur mod with the fbi one

Is there a linux port of this, it would be really useful since i dont use windoze

Could somebody please let me know where I can get the latest version of this fantastic mod as the official site doesn't work, I have the version before the return key error was fixed, so if anybody knows where I can download it or if someone is willing to email it to me, I would be very grateful.

anyone notice the hardware drivers arent working? i cant use the monitor or nuke, and i have purchased the hardware?

I just purchased the game and have been reading everything I can find on it, but after playing it for a few days I can see that this Mod rules but I can not get it to run.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK, here is the story I learned from another post. If you purchased your game from Trygames the friggin thing is a hacked POS that will not run the Mods or work with the Dev CD.



When I went to the Introversion site and purchased a legit copy from them the Mod worked great.

So give it a try it sure worked for me.

I'm trying to get Simply Uplink working. Looks like things have been moving slowly on this mod of late, and the author hasn't been seen in a while, but just thought I'd ask in case someone knows what's going on.

While trying to create a new profile, I get asked for a CD verification code. I am playing from a downloaded copy, and I was never asked for a verification code in the legit version of the game I downloaded directly from Introversion.

If IV doesn't require me to verify my CD, why does Simply Uplink? Is this an artefact from a prior version of Uplink?

If you bought Uplink from the website and downloaded the game, I'm not sure if you require a code card. either way, you should get a code card with the CD, so you'll have to wait.

Wow, people are still playing Uplink eh?

Is the mod working for most people? Any minor suggestions? Bugs? I have some time on my hands for about a month, so let me know.

Also about the CD Key thing. According to the copyright agreement I believe that I have to keep that in the program. Maybe you can email introversion for a code card.

Since www.uplinkmainframe.net is no longer working, I have posted the latest version of simplyuplink onto www.geocities.com/darkagito

This version includes some bug fixes and also has a nifty quicklaunch bar

Also have a query button in the logon screen. This way you can see your score without having to get caught.

Let me know if there are still some bugs to be found.

Agito, first off the simply uplink mod is great, It adds a lot of funtions which are very handy and improves the gameplay a lot. I'm not sure if you would read this msg since the last post is from 18th of May but if ye do, good job! =)

Secondly, I'm not sure if its even possible but if you do find yourself with some free time on your hands later on why not try and expand the mod. Perhaps contact the author of the FBI mod and see if you can mix those two together into one big mod. Since those two are kinda like the most popular ones.
