Next uplink version

I see few disadvanteges in Uplink now.

The greatest is that almost everything has to be done with mouse. This is very slow. It would be very nice to be able to assign some program or something else to one of the function keys (F*). Also IP_Probe (or lookup) could react to "enter" key not only to "go" button.

Also it would be really nice if bookmarks could be sorted, by IP or name.

Some good ideas, but mostly what we have already seen. Some of these problems may be solved by Dev CD owners, or maby not

Yeah. If the Dev CD weren't only for the PC, and I had one, I'd probably do that.

:-/ jeah after I wrote this I browsed this forum a bit

It's quite hard to undestand what is where.

Another big problem of this game is performance. I can't say what slows me down (CPU or Graphics card), but I can play Uplink normaly only on P4 2G PC with GeeForce2

Maybe you should actually read the topics. When I registered Uplink, I posted it in General becuase that's like the chat room for everything including and not including Uplink. I figured more people would read it there.

Basicaly Uplink is right as it should be right now. However, i could sure use some really difficult missions.
Really, Really difficult. By the way, Lord of the Rings III stinks!
