not to try to take away from up link but i found another sim actually around 4, but only one is released. Haven't played it tho jus thought u guys would like to know.

if you think only one other sim was released besides uplink, think again. there have been so many hacking sims released to date, and some of them were even mentioned in these forums (i.e. bluesky, mindlink, digital overlay, deus ex, hack the net, etc.). but from personal experience, uplink is still the most engaging among them.

Hey first I've heard of those other ones. Are they any good at all? They most probably can't beat good old Uplink but still interesting

I've played some of these so-called "Hacker games", but my interest in them failed in just several hours of gameplay. But then I got Uplink. I have played it for about, I dunno, 90 hours. And I just got it a week ago.

Correct. The hacking system in Deus Ex is quite limited, mostly because it doesn't play the biggest part in the game.

Deus Ex is a first-person shooter/adventure/RPG, not a hacking sim.
