We want Uplink II

I am starting to lose my patience here! I've been playng Uplink for years and i am starting to get bored. When can i play Uplink II, huh? Really, come on guys! Put some muscle to it!!

There is no Uplink II in design. <The next game> and <The next game> are the only ones in development.

Uplink online would be the shit.........i mean think about how much fun you could have if you got 4 or 5 ppl in a lobby and had the hack into banks and stuff to get moolah or bankrupt the next player, or just good old fashioned send'em to jail. that would be the shiznit

I keep wondering what will Uplink II bring to improve the game? I said it over over again, and I will keep saying it: If Uplink II will NOT be as good as the original Uplink, it's better if it won't come out at all!

Sequals aint no good (in most cases). Expansion packs can be, tho I expect on the long term it will get boring as well...

Well there ARE a lot of things that can be improved in uplink.
1) virusses: buy them, make them, use them, protect yourself from them.
2) trojans: same as above (very handy if put in personal computers or admins)
3) Employ your own people and let them hack for you. Create your own hacking empire.
4) Make the interface faster to control.
5) Use other things besides your gateway, like external hardware, build your own LAN etc.
6) And of course what EVERYONE wants. Make it go ONLINE in multiplayer.

So you see there is definately room for uplink 2

I personally don't care one way or the other what <the next game> will be. But I do know that I have high expectations of it.

i think that we should all wait for <thenext game> just wait and see and hopefully when we run to the website to buy a copy hopefully at the resonable price uplink was;)

then we can play and play and sign up to the new forums if they make another forums and then we can all live happily ever after!
