Question of novice about modification of translation

Good afternoon! 
Say can take away the folder of diction from the archives of game for translating of uplink v 1.55 into other languages?
for example in Uplink - Hacker.Elite.v1.31 - russian - the file of Runmi.bat and folder of diction, which files of diction.eng and diction.ru
But unfortunately it does not work in v 1.55
It takes off questions about translation of game.
File of Runmi.bat:
rd temp /S /Q
rd users /S /Q
rem copy /b strings.1 strings.txt
rem copy /b strings.2 strings.txt
rem copy /b 1.1 strings.txt
rem translate.pl --lang=ru
If there is not such possibility that prompt me how to transfer v.1.55 on Russian independently with your invaluable help
because I am large fanaticism Uplink but flights are in v.1.31 does not allow to play
