Not Uplink 2, Not Online Uplink, just Home LAN Uplink

well... i were wondering to play Uplink by LAN with 4 or more players... it could be fun... playing as a team or an enemy... doing misions together... ect... why not ?

I am missing longer story... and more story paths...



and.. i think Uplink 2 would not be so good... cuz this one is the best...

That's still multiplayer, and hence not going to happen.

It is on a smaller scale though, so, undeniably, it would be easier than a MMO version.

Partly because it doesn't face some the problems mentioned on the bonus CD. Partly because you wouldn't need huge servers containing data of a huge world full of people.

i would help with the programming on a multiplayer uplink,contact me at craighrp@yahoo.com with any online uplink ideas i might go though with the plains.i think if we had a online or a multiplayer uplink we would be able to hack uplink internatiolnal back with the other players bank info.also we would hack uplink internatoinal service machine to find out there screen names to get them arested.i think also we could host our own bank's,service machines,public access servers,lans,terminals and much more.the last thing is we should make the online or multiplayer version of uplink free or 5 dollars a month to host ur own servers and have extra stregth tools like lvl 5,6,and 7.lvl 7 would crack the password then give u full admin access till u get cuaght
