looks good, but as above looks very ambitous!

A very nice outline, but I wouldn't go for the trinary idea, it's too hard to implement in an efficient way.
My own CPU simulator is a bit like the x86 family, but most values are represented using standard JAVA variable types (int, short, byte), making coding it alot easier, and even so, the processer class itself is VERY VERY complex.
