Proxor: good luck with your game. A thought on your idea for the password breaking, though - rather than having higher versions require less work, wouldn't it make more sense to make higher versions harder to use, but have a potential, if used correctly, to crack the password more efficiently? That way, the game would get harder as you progressed through it, rather than easier.
You could need to get better versions as you got further on to combat the companies' better tracing capabilities. These higher versions would let you in fast enough, but you'd need to be better at the game to use them, and so the difficulty would increase.
If successive versions got easier to use, then when (if?) companies got better at tracing you, you would find it was just as easy - if not easier - to hack them.
