Well i cant really comment on war, im only web admin for the project, maybe ProstheticS will let you know, oh and good luck too, im sure I will check out bytelink on release, you probably already noticed me on your forum.

Even if theres no Uplink 2 the community will modify it beyond recognision
and the game will change completely
just like with other ambrosia games.
