Your point, Deepsmeg?
He said that his firewall prevents him from downloading the .exe file...it's not too hard, is it?
Also, what's with the "I know everything about downloading, POP and HTTP" attitude? Do you really thinkg that shauneclifford84 knows what you mean? Or do you just want to intimidate him so he doesn't come back?

Nakatomi is coming
But...
the firewall can't tell the difference between .htm and .exe,
ok, one's ascii and one's binary, but I'll wager he can download the buttons on the forums which are binary...
The firewall isn't stopping him, sure, there may be some other Local SecurityPolicy affecting it, but that's beside the point.
If people are going to make excuses, they need to make legitimate ones.

this is, after all, a hackers community
No it's not. It's a gaming community based around a hacking game, which is nothing like real hacking.

Ok, first this forum isn't downloaded as it internet based, 2nd ive worked with computers for years, and 3rd stop reading "Internet for Dummies" then acting like you know everything because you don't!
Now how do you like them apples?
Return argument 1:
The data, in this case the forum pages (a collection of php files), is being transferred from the server to your client.
Downloading is the transfer of data, usually in the form of a file, from a server to a client.
Return argument 2:
Isn't the FBI mod internet based? Since the files come from an internet server?
-----
1 contradicts your viewpoint.
2 disproves your viewpoint using your own logic.
enjoy.

Slight correction in your post, Deepsmeg, though it alters your argument not one bit.
PHP files aren't transferred to the client. Data provided to the PHP script files is processed to create a dynamic HTML file, which is then sent to the client.
As I said, it doesn't alter your point about server-client data transfer, but a flawed argument is still flawed
