What if they made a mod where it scans ur hard drive for files and then the game makes files that have the same name on the company computers? and it would scan ur LAN and make a LAN with all ur comp names? that'd be cool.

Theres a slight misunderstanding. I meant that the COMPANY'S files would have the same name of YOUR hard drive files

It too confusing.

i think he means Uplink would scan YOUR PC as in the one sitting on your desk for file names & then the company computers in the game would have some files that are named the same as files on your PC.
right?

All it boils down to is uncommenting a line of code!
Yet Stews calls it a good idea!

That was the whole game gone through the translator. All the words changed. That's a big difference. But this one is just scanning files and making companies. I mean, who would care to change company names. It's just like creating a new user and see the difference in company names. If you want to create your own company name, just create a LAN. I think the companies and files is ok. I don't think the mod is going to be very popular... But that is my opinion. I'm not forcing you...
