Introversion are probably the only programmers unconventional but skilled enough to consider these ideas, please give them some consideration as I know you can make an excellent game from them:
- massively multyplayer version of uplink:
Imagine this: uplink, but instead of predictable A.I. controlled targets, you hack REAL people; people who hold grudges, hack you back, or hire other hackers if they are not good enough or do not want to get their hands dirty.
Apart from internet compatability, (yes, I know this would be a lot of work) there would not need to be a lot to change in the game. Every player's account is a target, their 'webserver' would become their memory, and players could try to hack in to download applications (instead of buying them from a central corporation) or delite files to cripple their enimies. Not only does the game present now a far more immersive hacking expirience, but also adds another dimention as players try to make their system into an impenitrable fortress.
- online version of "illuminati by Blackpool Games":
Allthough this play by mail game did not (I think) turn out as well as it could, there were so many good ideas: controll chains from one group to another, so many hidden factors that were not just randomly contolled but weilded by intelligent players plotting against you, the contiual uncertanty of what is really going on - are those groups that seem to be under my controll just doing that because another player has told them to?
I know I have been vague in this description, but if Introversion find out about the mechanics of the game, I'm sure you will be able to draw some excellent ideas from it.
Consider these ideas *please*

The email address is found on the main site, look there for it. As for you emailing them ideas for the game after Darwinia, well considering IV have said they are not doing any sort of sequel to Uplink in anyway shape or form, they will fall on deaf ears. Sorry about that, but thems the facts.
