THIS IS A CONCEPT

This is by no way finished - just stuff which I could come up with in 2 days.

I guess I'm in trouble if I need to explain what exactly is on the image...

The "schtik" is not in the layout but in the design. Once the design is finished, different layout is just a matter of moving layers around.

So what did you see?

I don't mean to disrespect any of you hardcore gateway designers out there, but do we really NEED 12cpus and 6.4billion gigaquads of storage space? There aren't THAT many interesting (or useful) files on the servers in the game, I'll stick to my crappy 550ghz 96gqd 10mbit beast of a machine for now, until I work out exactly how many missions I'd need to waste time doing to afford one of these so I could spend millions of creds to kit out, and be pointless having because after u get past the gateway with the wireless transmitter ur sorted for any system u hit ANYWAY, mho, nothing more...

looks good...I think it could be some type of authorisation...umm What about makin` some graphics for 'Uplink Online' aka FlashLink projet :->...what software did you use ? Fireworks(png) or Photoshop ?

Did some small changes. The small thing near the CPU is not functional (just so there will be other things except CPU and memory).

The question is, which cable arrangement is better, the one on top or the one below?

i agree the second ones much cooler, but what exactly is the digital thing to the right of the gateway?
