ONLINE GAMING

I am a big online gamer fan and i think it would be cool if uplink could be an online game. I am not sure of what all the features would be but being able to actually log on to an online game and have acces from there would be cool. I myself own a couple of computers and dont like to play a new file on each one. If it were online though, i could access my files from any computer and keep playing from there.

I just read another post and saw that some people thought that hacking companies was a good idea. If Uplink was an online game, people could join together and become a company, of course making one would cost.

true. collaborative hacking or working in teams is definitely a good twist to the game. being able to play Uplink in a Starcraft-like multiplayer scenario would make the game twice as fun. If you would like to have a knack in coding the improvement yourself, wait for the release of Uplink's development CD with source.

The game, in it's current state, would be fairly boring multiplayer.

Perhaps if a great deal is added to it, it would be possible.

www.lost.no is an online hacking game, very similar to Uplink, but its really not.
