I can see both sides of the debate.  In reality, I don't consider it too much of a pain to set up my route, even if I am bouncing it off 15 different servers.  What I would like to see though is an "undo".  Too many times I've been setting up a bounce and clicked on the wrong one by mistake.  If I could take that route off, instead of erasing the whole thing, that would be cool.
