need help with storyline.. never got email

There are two ways. The traditional way is the email from the dead agent. The other way, well it involves hacking into ARC. Beyond that you will have to try for yourself.

And the dead agent email is always sent. It's part of the game code.

yea i hacked into the arc mainframe... and found that the file had been deleted, so i went to logs... and looked up the ip's that they deleted and nothing from there. I done the "Mole????" mission but i think i skipped the storyline?

EDIT: i also undeleted the unknown ip that copied the core and it didnt work....

I received the email from the dead agent, and have subequently hacked the ARC mainframe, but nothing happens. It's early June, a couple months after I received the email. I used the username and password, abut nothing happens. I fully hacked the system through admin, and even downloaded all the programs on their file server, but nothing happens after that.

I've read the guide, and it just said that trying to use the user and password should alert arc to my presence. Any ideas? I've waited a couple weeks and even gone back and hacked the place again with no result.

Looks like you've just left it too late in attempting the storyline, unfortunately.

Yeah, my first run though... Took quite awhile till I figured that I needed to look up another terminal to connect from. Looks like i'll need to start again. At least the next time around I'll have a better idea. For some reason, I was thinking that the game wouldn't trigger events till I tried logging in. But the more I read, the more I'm realising this isn't a typical game.
