Problem with "trace a hacker" mission

Postby fantomas » Mon Apr 14, 2008 1:40 am

When I click "accept" on a "trace a hacker" mission, the message box below say"We cannot allow you to accept this mission,on the specific instruction of the employer".Does it mean the mission is too old or i'm the hacker who behind this?

althought the mission being too old is an issue too, if the mission is more then a few days old do not accept because the hacker would have had time to hide his tracks too well making catching him next to impossible

I think Mas Tnega was right, because the mission post time was just one hour before.

I have done hundreds of trace a hacker missions and have never failed even if its been several days since the hack was done.

I have found all hackers do the same thing, they bounce it a few times through different servers and then replace one bounce log with xxxx accessed file (or something like that).

so all you need to do it undelete the log at the hack time. I realise the guide tells you otherwise but I have found that it is either wrong in this case or the person has done tests where the hack occured an insane amount in the past.

And yes all trace hacker and trace balance transfer missions that appear and you cannot do are hack attempts by you.

Why are you posting in topics that died in most cases months ago?
