Modding The data.dat and world.dat

Hi, can anyone give me any information about modifying the data.dat and world.dat.

If anyone wants specifics on what i want to do, it is this:

I want to change the processor's max speed from 200 Gq's to something like 200,000 Gq's. Its that ive been playing uplink for a while, and i get annoyed on having to close the emails updates.

Any information anyone can give me would be much appreciated.
