Deleting logs problem

Postby Turner » Wed Jan 10, 2007 3:27 am

I am having trouble with the deleting logs from any server that I connect to. (In game of course) I do everything I am suppose to do, (bounce the signal, password break, have trace up, copy the data) but when I comes time to delete my log files so I leave no trace it simply won't delete anything. I click the button and choose the delete file software and then try clicking the file I wish to delete, nothing happens. I can't progress any farther in the game due to the fact that I leave a blatent trail leading all the way back to me. Could anyone help me? I figured it was a patch problem and installed every single patch, starting from 1.31 all the way up to 1.54. (and tried playing inbetween each patch but still had the same problem) I am at a loss as to what I should do.

Use log_deleter to delete logs and not file_deleter.

If that isn't the problem then please post screenshots of what you are doing.

I'm stupid too.
I usually try to Decrypt when I should Decyper. . .
I don't think the Elipitic-Curve thingy should have the word "Encryption" in it's run-time title.
It's not easy being human.

huh to be safe on deleting logs I just go into the admin real quick and type the following:
cd log
delete
shutdown

And as soon as it says that shutdown is complete I disconnect and stuff.

P.S. I also, always when bouncing make sure that the first thing I bounce to/from/etc. is the Internic place because when I finish deleting logs and shutting down company pc and disconnecting from their pc I can just go to that place without being traced and crack into its admin and delete any logs saying that it routed to another ip and delete that I used its admin pass to enter it to delete logs and then disconnect...if you need any screenshots lemme know I can help.

That is a pointless thing to do
