The way I play Uplink

Does anyone think that its a bad thing that i play to hack a bank as quick as possible to buy the best stuff right away to start hacking and destroying the all the comperations system, hacking the lans as soon as i can.

I dont know what i hope to get out of this but i enjoy doing it, enjoy accumalating as much money as i can as before i make a mistake and get caught.

What else do you guys suggest i do, those of you who are actaully really good at this game, on that whole other level, possibly the developers...who knows how much they play it..but iknow where it would be coming from.

As my signature says, im from the world of quake, i've been playing there for 6 to 7 years, and i love that game, i have also trained intesively in it, and i know what kind of learning experience it is. And i've always wanted to bring that into uplink, many things just got in the way so i was hoping that you maybe able to give me some goal outside of the story to do, a challenge you make to you self, since it is a unrestricted game, do what oyu want and if you cover for it ..you OK! anyways give some feed back.

Well first off, welcome.

Now, your style. Hmmm....if you want my opinion it's a "realist" approach. Think about it: (And I'm not suggesting you do this) if you were a real hacker, would you be content scraping together a PC a little bit at a time, or make a run for the bank so you can buy a monster straight out? I'd go for the monster.

and ya i usually go for th monster..prolly till i want to do it from scratch...story line style...but now i just wana demolish the world.....is this possible and sould i do it? or die trying?

You want to demolish the world? Well you have two options. One: Work for ARC and destroy the internet with Revelation. Two: console-crash every machine possible.

Revelation works better b/c it can hit public access servers and such.

i think when u get the stuff to hack the banks make sevrel (5-10) backups of ur file and just go for the gold or in uplink try to destroy all possible machines if u get cuaght some how just use a back up
