Storyline won't start

Hi,

before I started the storyline, I wanted to make some money and improve my hardware. So I bought everything I want so far, but the storyline just won't start. And yes, I visited the guide.

At the time I received the email from the dead hacker, I noted down the account and password so that I could delete the mail. ARC mailed me a few days later that I wanted to access their database (including the offer for a job) - quite odd.

So today I wanted to start the storyline, but the dead hacker's account is not accepted, nor do I receive an answer about the job offer from ARC when I reply the offer.

Anybody got an idea ? I'm beginning to think that I ended in a dead end and won't be able to start the storyline at all
