REVELATION IS AWESOME!!!

Postby Dave_The_Killer » Fri Apr 29, 2005 11:52 am

I ran the revelation virus and it destroyed the entire computer world in a matter of literally 5 clicks and five seconds!!!!

...oh, yeah, and I got fired for it. I destroyed Uplink's mainframe by accident. :?
Must you suck so? Against a 1337 haxXor? I think not!

Are you sure you didn't just destroy your own computer?

If you run revelation from the menu, it just infects your own computer and kills that...

It's part of the storyline. You get it if you decide to take part in it.

When you start your game, keep an eye on the news, looking for any unusual headlines. I pays to have a rough idea what's going on in the world.

On the 14th of April, you'll get an email. Let your curiosity get the better of you.

If you weren't as succesful as you'd hoped, remember that patience is the key. Sometimes, the people you're looking for are just as interested in finding you themselves.

I hate bumping threads from a day or so ago, but I can't resist.

If you really want to know how the plot operates, highlight between the bars... I'll try to keep it as storyline-sensitive as possible, so I don't ruin the games of any curious newbies who decide to highlight the whole page in a spasm of boredom.

| If you don't accept the ARC side of the offer, the storyline will progress without you. To trigger the Arunmor storyline, you must accept the ARC side. |

Yeah. I was here a few years ago. I'll probably disappear for a few more now.

Arc

Postby Shinotama » Tue Jul 05, 2005 9:11 pm

You get it from arc, the only thing you get from arunmore is the Anti-Virus Programme....

Simple...

Only thing is I have been playing both story lines together in the same game so I get both lol

Do you realise you're gonna be screwed when it comes to the last ARC mission?

First: your getting revelation from arunmore also, it's stored on one of their servers, and you have to infect arunmor with it (it's a mission of arunmore, to have evidence of ARC's activity's).

Second: You can't do both lines in the same game. If you choose arunmor's side, ARC will notice you sending revelation to arunmor, and they will kick you out of their company.

Yeah. One mission from the end. Would the phrase, "You're gonna be screwed when it comes to the last ARC mission" sound familiar to you? When you've got the time, pop over to uplink internal services and have a look at the Faith v Revelation progress section.

Enjoy the last mission.

Those pants of yours are pretty smart, huh? :P

So you are working on the last ARC mission and still have a mail with work from Arunmor or something?

Well, as far as I know, you have to DEPLOY revelation all over the internet in the ARC storyline and you have to TERMINATE revelation on the Arunmor side.

So how would you end both storylines in the same games?
