Uplink on steam sound error
Posted: Sun Jul 14, 2019 3:07 pm
Hello,
I've had a look and I can't find anyone reporting this issue.
The issue:
The sound in uplink (on steam, v1.66) is crunchy and does not sound right at all. It sounds like someone is playing it through several distortion pedals at once. I am not sure I can describe it better than that. Has anyone else had this issue?
My system;
Lenovo Yoga 530 (Ryzen 2500u)
Ubuntu 19.04
Kernal 5.0.0-20-generic
sound card;
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: Generic [HD-Audio Generic], device 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 1: Generic_1 [HD-Audio Generic], device 0: ALC236 Analog [ALC236 Analog]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
Any help would be appreciated
