i made a mistake

Postby lordpapi70 » Sat Feb 23, 2013 4:11 pm

Hi everyone... I made a mistake and now i'm stuck...

Here's the deal: I went into the option section and change the resolution of the game to 1600x1200. The problem is my computer only run 1366x768...
Yeah i know, it's stupid, but i wanted to know what happens if...

So now... when i open my game, the cursor won't reach any buttons so i am not able to change it back to normal. I tried to unninstall it but it wont change, when i install it again, its still in 1600x1200...

Anybody help?
thx

Find the config file and edit it with notepad, make the game run windowed.

The config file is in binary form for Uplink.

The easiest way is to delete it, simply remove the following file: [path where you installed Uplink]\users\options

On windows, it used to be located in "[path where you installed Uplink]\users\" and the file is "options".

For other platforms, on Linux it's in the home directory. On mac in ~/Library/Application Support/Uplink

Worse case do a search for your "[agent name].usr".

Use the command-line switches. Run it from the command-line or just change your shortcut to have
-graphics_fullscreen
at the end.

Failing that, you can also try
+graphics_screenheight 768 +graphics_screenwidth 1366
