Introversion

I've been using uplink v1.3,and enjoying its gameplay. But one day,while playing,my power went off due to some sparking in the power socket. The UPS didn't give a standby, and the system shut down.



Now,whenever i'm trying to play uplink with the old profile,its showing error and shutting down. The debug file is showing the following content

What should i do?? I'm enclosing the user file

re install and use the most recent version?

going by the text it seems a text string, maybe a user name var or something has been corrupted.

There's some kind of corruption in the user file mgbs.usr . Any ideas on how to correct the error? I had made a hell of progress on it, sad it'll be lost if i couldn't get it fixed. Its some dynamic memory address error which needs to be corrected.

apart from a reinstall and patch, no, sorry.
