Introversion

Hi, I've been running uplink on this system for about 5 years; it's dual CPU with an Nvidia 8800 GTX; it's way, way way above the sys requirements to play. However, today I started it up and the CPU leak ballooned until it took 100% of my CPU just to idle. I'm using patch v1.54 and I reinstalled the game and the patch. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
