Backup Saving Issue

I'm using an add on for having a backup file. After I completed the tutorial and got the beginner rank, I got a mission, but then I decided to quit for a while. I came back and did that mission and several other and became "Confident". I left and came back, and I was a beginner again! I also still had the Test Data and Tutorial though I deleted them, and had Trace Tracker v1 when i had v4.

Uplink Agent Backup

Yeah your probably gonna tell me to get a better computer >.< but that's not the problem.

no i was going to say if your running vista or 7 to check the permissions, but since your on mac, you need to go to the mac forum

Did you ask anyone there? The Mac version of Uplink is published and maintained by Ambrosia Software, not Introversion. If you are having problems with the Mac version, then you need to ask about them on Ambrosias boards, not these boards. I wasn't suggesting that you would magically find your answer over there, but rather that the people here cannot help you, and that the people there might be able to.

Trust me when I say that has NOT helped me in the past. Over there I can ask a question and the admin goes:
"What does this button do?????"

I could make another account but that site is well... almost unhelpful??????? I'll give it a try, though.
