Revelation doesn't infect computers with weak security

There's a problem with doing the final ARC mission in Uplink. I went to a low security Internal services machine ( you know, the one's you get at the lower ranks), and went to copy it and run revelation, however, the virus doesn't infect the computer, and just disconnects me. Could someone fix this?

What version of Uplink are you running? Is it the Introversion Store, Strategy First, Steam etc etc?
What patch version are you up to?

I'm using the Mac version, version 1.6.1

Then your best bet is to go to the Ambrosia Forums as they deal with the Mac side of things. We really cannot advise on the Mac version here at all.

I've just given it a try. When running it on those machines it does disconnect you, and if you have the scanner for revelation open it shows as infected. This is on the Windows version, patch 1.55. It is working fine for all I can see,

Then why don't I get a red flashing dot on those machines like the others that are affected?

This topic is spoiler central.
Make sure there isn't Faith on that system. While you're infecting systems, Arunmor is fixing them. That's why you can lose if you don't take the internet offline within a certain amount of time. If Faith is on that machine, move on.
If this isn't the case, the only other information I can give you is Onlink related.
If you're doing the storyline on Onlink, servers for one reason or another access their backup servers much faster during ARC's Last Hurrah. Take out the backup servers then Revelate.
Otherwise, just move on. I've got no other information for you.
