sound an graphic issues

wherever i set my graphic card i have slower graphic animations and the sounds are little sticky and blury, meaning that they sound irregular like the game lags

i work with a 1600Mhz with 512 ram and winXp

i remember that with win2000 i didnt have such problems
now with winxp started all this i also have installed the latest patch

1) Check if there is a opengl32.dll file in Uplink directory, if present, rename it to opengl32.dll.old

2) Update sound and video drivers.



If nothing of the above fix it you may post a dxdiag:

1)'Start' windows button
2)'Run ...' or the search bar in Vista
3)Type 'dxdiag.exe' in the 'Open' textbox and press the 'Ok' button
4)Once the 'dxdiag.exe' dialog is up, click the 'Save All Information ...' button.
5)Choose a destination for the file (ie: your desktop) and a name for the file (ie: 'dxdiag_info.txt')
6)Post the content of the file here.
