Hallo,
Ich habe mir "Uplink" über Steam gekauft.
Beim starten des Spiels habe ich allerdings folgendes Problem.
Das Spiel startet aber nach ca 3s werde ich zurück auf den Desktop geworfen und folgende Meldung erscheint.
"Es wurde für diese Auflösung noch kein Standard-Profil gespeichert, dies wird nun erledigt"
Allerdings passiert nichts und ins Spiel komme ich auch nicht.
Ich höre zwar Ton aber jedes mal wenn ich ins Spiel zurück gehen will passiert das selbe.

If the error is in German it's either an Windows or Steam error.

What is your version of Windows? (XP, Vista, ..) In which language is your Windows?

Does your Steam interface is in German?

Perhaps try redownloading in Steam interface Uplink local files?

Windows XP SP2 in German

Yes, it is in German

I had redownload the Game and Reinstall it. The same Error appears.

Try putting the Steam interface in english and post back the error message if it's now in english.

Most problem with Uplink are solved with updated video and audio drivers.

EDIT: Random ideas:
1) Are you an Administrator on this computer?
2) In which directory your Steam is installed? (Is there any files in [Your Steam directory]\steamapps\common\uplink )

I've tried to start with Steam in English. The Game starts with no error but yet the solution is horrible low.

It's in Fullscreen Mode. I can't create a new Agent because I can't klick the buttons

The latest video and audio drivers are installed

And yes I'm Administrator on my Computer

A possible workaround would be to able software rendering by renaming C:\SPIELE\STEAM\STEAMAPPS\COMMON\UPLINK\opengl32.dll.bak to opengl32.dll

2)'Run ...'
3)Type 'dxdiag.exe' in the 'Open' textbox and press the 'Ok' button
4)Once the 'dxdiag.exe' dialog is up, click the 'Save All Information ...' button.
