Crash Error

I've just purchased this game from TryGames, which now seems to be a big mistake as I don't seem to be able to patch my game up. Now I don't know anyway if that would solve my problem. I'm about 30mins into a new game when I get the following error message when trying to log into one of my agents:

I've really been enjoying the game so hope that someone will be able to identify what's going wrong. I'm currently running Vista, which I know isn't supported but things were running fine.

The problem is it's the technically illegal version from Strategy First. They refused to pay Introversion what they owed for publishing the game, so no patches will work with the version you have.

You want it fixed, get a refund from Trygames and buy it from Introversion.

Your agent is probably corrupted, installing a patch won't solve it, start a new agent.
