Flashing text

I dont know if this problem has come up before, but i've just downloaded and installed the demo, but when i run the program the text flashes rapidly, meaning that the game is completely unusable - any ideas how to fix this?

Uhh, offhand, I think it's something to do with the OpenGL libraries that come with the game, but I can't confirm that because I'm on Linux right this second. For me, if I backup and remove the OGL libraries, the flashing stops but the game is unplayably slow, or that might be the other way round. Either way, Uplink is unplayable under Windows for me, but it works fine in Linux. I'm afraid you'll have to wait for someone with a little more knowledge to confirm or deny any of this. :)

Update your video drivers,

And be sure to run at least version 1.54 of the Demo. The latest demo.
