Severe choppiness problem

Postby JINKY » Fri Feb 23, 2007 4:08 am

The game runs very badly for me, I have an athlon 2500+, 9800 pro, and 1gb of ram but it's very slow. I'm running the newest patch and I have all the newest drivers, but I can't get it going at a decent framerate :(

You don't have any virus scan programs etc. running while you play? Also, though you say you have the newest patch, make sure you have version 1.54, which isn't mentioned on the main IV site (it claims the latest is 1.31).

Check in the uplink directory if there is a opengl32.dll file, if yes, rename it to opengl32.dll.bak .
